BM-59 MACHINE GUN. Cal. 7.62 (NATO). S# X000316. Bbl. 19" with muzzle brake. Standard BM-59 sights with additional grenade launcher sight. The BM-59 was an Italian Cold War battle rifle based on the M1 Garand. Receiver has Beretta BM59 markings on heel. Left side of receiver has Springfield Armory marking. Bolt & op-rod both marked "P.B. BM59". Underside of bolt is electro pencil matching to receiver. Parkerized finish. Walnut stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & flip up shoulder rest. Folding BM-59 bipod also present. MAGS: none present. CONDITION: stock set shows some scattered handling & storage marks. Metal retains 97% original parkerized finish with some light edge & usage wear. Bolt stop does not appear to engage but action is otherwise functioning properly when hand cycled.
